Mangalore : Congress leader K S Mohammed Masood, urged the minority to cast their precious votes to Congress party, since congress have given an seats to as many as minorities in the upcoming election.

He was speaking at the press meet held at Congress office at Nantoor on March 4, Monday. He said that Congress has SDPI is using the images of various mosque for election publicity and this is condemned. Making publicity for the party is not wrong, but misusing mosque images is not right, he said.

Looking at the development work by the congress corporators, the people must vote for congress, he said.

He also said that KPCC president G Parameshwara has also appointed Congress leaders JR Lobo, Hilda Alva and Balraj Rai as District Congress Committee vice presidents. While, leader Michael Patrick Lobo has been appointed as general secretary, Balakrishna Shetty and Narayana Kotian are appointed as secretaries.

Congress leaders like MLA UT Khader, Sadashiv Ullal, Moideen Bawa, Ibrahim Kodijal and others were present.
