Moodbidri : The second day of Alva’s Nudisiri 2011 relished the audience with the  literary and cultural treat began Udayaraga at 5:30 a.m.

Later the programme continued with Dasara Padagalu, Kavisamaya, and other events were held on Ratnakaravarni stage along with other cultural events were held throughout the day.

In the noon, the Alvas Chitrasiri 2011 Award was conferred on Marishamachar, the senior artist. Apart from it, the programmes such as Kavisamaya Kavnamana, cultural events by the students of Alva’s Institutions, a seminar, a special lecture, and light music were held.

Later in the evening, colorful events such as Kathak and Bharathnatyam dance performances, Maatina Mantapa, children’s play, Jago Bharat, Vachan Kirtan, and others were held at four venues, namely, Ku Shi Haridas Bhat, Ratnakaravarni, K. V. Subbanna, and Udupi Ananda Ganiga stages.
