Mangalore: The second edition of the highly successful revival of Rural sports at Mijaru, around Sri. Bhoothanatheshwar Temple grounds, is due on February 17,18,19 according to organisers, headed by Vijayanath V. Shetty.
On all three days of the rural festival, free bus is provided from Yedapavu to Temple and back.
The number of rural participants in sports and games will exceed 4,000 where in 2011 was 1,800.
CM Sadananda Gowda has agreed to inaugurate the second year games festival on February 17 at 7.30 in the morning.
At night a Talent show at 7PM on February 17, with prize money of Rs 25,000 will be conducted.
A magic show is due on February 18 by ace magician of DK, Kudroli Ganesh.
A fusion of folk and pop music by singer Raghu Dixit will be conducted on February.19.
