Mangalore: The second PUC examinations began in DK with 32,267 students from 170 colleges appearing in 49 centres on March 13, Wednesday.
On the first day of examination, students appeared for History and computer science exams.
PU Education Board has formed 10 teams to check malpractices during examination.
Apart from it, Deputy Commissioner N Prakash will head a separate team formed by him including Deputy Secretary, DK Zilla Panchayat, Assistant Commissioner, Deputy Director, PU Education Board and Deputy Director, Department of Women and Child Welfare.
In the Taluk level committee, the Tahshildar, Chief Executive Officer, Project Director, Child Development Department and Regional Educational Officer have also been included.
DC has also imposed prohibitory orders around a 200-metre radius of all examination centres and orders under Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code till the end of the examinations have been imposed for smooth running of exams.
