Mangaluru : Tulu stage artist and Kannada Movie ‘Milana’ fame Kannada Actor Suresh Mangalore(65) died due to kidney related illness on May 17th.

Suresh Mangalore is a well known theater artist in Mangalure. He acted stage plays with K.N. Tailor, Devadas Kapikad and my Drama troups in Dakshina Kannada.

Suresh Mangalore was employed with telecom department, but later he took Voluntary retirement and joined with the late K. N. Taylor’s Tulu theatre troupe.

His character in Vijay Kumar Kodialbail’s Tulu drama `Oikla Avandinakulu’. This brought him name and fame.

He made his Sandalwood debut with Seetharam Karanth’s 1999 Kannada movie ‘Chandramukhi Pranasakhi’. He went on to act in many Kannada films like ‘Shrirasthu Shubhamasthu’, `Milana, Maatad Maatad Mallige, Chaarminar, Mailari, Tajmahal and in many films.

He acted in Tulu films like ‘Kadala Mage’, ‘Baravuda Bandasale’ and ‘Danikulna Jokulu’. He will last be seen ‘Shutterdulai’, which is in post production and will be released soon.

He also acted in many serials like Anna Basavanna, Parvathi, Preethi Illada Mele and many others.
