Bangalore: A 60-year-old man died in Bangalore after being assaulted by two teenagers. The man, identified as Alageshan was beaten up by two teenagers who he had reportedly warned against sexually harassing his niece.

The police said that Alageshan confronted the two boys on Monday night. When he slapped one of them, they in turn hit him on his chest, following which he went unconscious and was declared dead in hospital. The police have arrested the two teenagers and have registered a case.

Suneel Kumar, Additional Commissioner of Police, Law and Order, said, “There are no external injuries, this man was pushed around by the two boys and he fell down, he was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead. They have been arrested.”
