Mangalore: Sevanjali Charitable Trust honoured Deputy Speaker N Yogesh Bhat with the ‘Sevanjali Man of the Year Award 2010-11 at Sri Venkataramana Temple, Carstreet on August 27, Saturday.
After receiving the felicitation, N Yogesh Bhat said that he has faced a hardship in his life from his childhood and never expected to reach at this level.
He also said that After becoming the MLA for the two times the water problem and the roads have developed. And in next one and half year, the state will develop completely, he said.
The city will be developed in future in the field like infrastructure, healthy, tourism, education and other fields too.
Speaking aboput the rate of infant mortality, he sid that the company like Infosys has joined hands with the state government to give a well equipped hospital and now the rate is decreased to 10.
Sharing his experience of becoming the deputy speaker, he said that deputy speaker election was one of his memorable election in his life. Legend like Srinivas Mallya is the role model in the field and he has requested Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda to grant the amount of Rs 150 crore for the development of city.
