Mangaluru : Police have arrested seven persons in connection to vandalism and attempted to kill a woman in the house at Shaktinagar.

Those arrested are Avinash (23), Dhanush (19) from Urvastores, Ranjith (28) from Kodikal, Hemanth (19) from Bantwal, Prajwal (24) from Bantwal, Deekshith (21) from Kodi Bengre and Yathiraj (23) from Kunjathbail.

The incident happened on May 30, Sunday night.

Among the seven accused who are arrested, Avinash and Ranjith are rowdy sheeters. Ranjith has ten cases against him while Avinash has two cases. Deekshith and Prajwal also have two and three cases respectively against them.

It is alleged that Hemanth was troubling the woman’s 20 year daughter and when questioned had resorted to this illegal act.
