Mangaluru : Total 25 individuals from seven Koraga (tribe) families in Panja village, Dakshina Kannada, reconverted to Hinduism from Christianity after attending religious rituals on Saturday.
The Vishwa Hindu Parishad Dharma Prasara Vibhag spearheaded the ceremony at the Panja Temple. The event featured a Gana Yaga, attended by the 25 individuals—15 men and 10 women—alongside local Hindu organization leaders.
The reconverted families were provided with clothes, grocery items, photos of various Hindu deities and other household essentials.
The Dharma Prasara Vibhag initiated contact with these families and, following discussions, the families expressed their willingness to return to Hinduism.
Dharma Prasara Dakshina Prant Pramukh Sunil KR, VHP leaders Sooryanarayan, Sunil KR and others were present.
