Mangalore : Several dignitaries will take part in the centenary celebrations of the Catholic Association of South Kanara to be held on September 22.
Informing this, Dr Derek Lobo, President of CASK said Goa governor Margaret Alva,Union Minister for Highways Oscar Fernandes, MLA JR Lobo, Rosary Education Group chairman Vivek Aranha will be the chief guests. Bishop of Mangalore Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza will bless the event.
He also briefed on the various programmes planned by CASK during its centenary year. He said there will programmes of promoting blood, organ and whole body donations.
There will also be talks by eminent Catholics and a book on the history of CASK will be released.
