Kaup : Several passengers have been injured in a KSRTC bus rammed into the Udyavar bridge on the National Highway 66 on May 29, Friday.

The KSRTC bus moving towards Hubballi from Mangaluru. The bus hits the side poles of the bridge.

The front portion of the bus is mangled due to the impact of the collision. It is said the driver of the bus lost control over the vehicle resulting in the mishap.

The negligence of the driver is blamed for the accident. Kaup Police are at the spot.
