Mangaluru : A  person who was allegedly harassing for her daughter sexually and luring her into drug addiction arrested by Urwa police on Sunday December 26.

The arrested is Mohammed Sharif Siddique from Krishnapura.

The victims mother from Bejai has complained to Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) against her husband after she not getting response from  religious leaders and police.

The victim’s mother in her complaint to the VHP stated that for the past three years, Siddique has been repeatedly sexually harassing her daughter with drugs. He also used to take his daughter from her home along with his friends kept her with them for days.

It is said, Siddique has already married thrice.

Her daughter has gotten addicted to drugs and her health condition has worsened, the mother  said
