Mangalore: This is the story of a young man called Sailesh Shetty (27), the only son to his parents and yet involved in heavy debts due to bets earlier made either in cricket or in digits, running in to lakhs of rupees that made in a pauper or insolvent.

He leaves two sisters who are married already and parents who are unhappy about his suicide in Sultan Battery River. He was reported missing since Thursday Jan.16 and the matter was reported to Kavoor police who were searching for him. His dead body was fished out on Friday at Sultan Battery.

Only 2 days ago he had returned after a pilgrimage of Shabarimalai Ayyappa shrine but was still deep debts and could not extricate himself from the various liabilities and took his own life, without paying of the debts in lakhs of rupees.

It appears that he has left a death note about his troubles in life, but the Kavoor police could not confirm about such a theory about him.
