Puttur: Shakuntala Shetty, former Puttur MLA and President of Swabhimani Vedike has come down heavily on the BJP for not giving any representa tion to the MLAs of the district in the Jagadish Shettar cabinet.

She said that the BJP has resorted to caste politics and this would    prove detrimental to it. She also warned that any neglect of the district would pave way for the downfall of the party.

Shetty further said injustice has been done by the party by not granting ministership to sincere and hardworking MLAs like Yogish Bhat and Haladi Srinivas Shetty and alleged that the party was neglecting the district.

She also warned the BJP that the electorate would teach a befitting lesson to the party for the in justice done to them.
