Bidari, whose daughter is IAS no.1 and married to an IPS, is involved in a technical struggle, challenging the legality of Central Administrative Tribunal order which directs only a certain category to be recommended by UPSC for its empanelment of for the post of Director General of Police (DGP). The division bench of KHC has upheld the CAT’s order that Bidari could not come under the requisite category (Zone of consideration) that fits DGP scales.
Bidari is now an ADGP in Railways.
