Bangalore: Jyoti Prakash Mirji is the new CPC for Bangalore, as Shanker M Bidari (59) is posted on May 2 to Railways as ADGP (as senior IPS cop). Bidari came in place of Nelam Achyutha Rao earlier in 2008 July, as city police commissioner (CPC), but did not complete 3 years.
Bhasker Rao is IGP for anti-Terrorist squad now. KSR Charm Reddy has taken over as IGP for Internal security.
Last week in April, Roopkumar Dutta in Lokayukta services, was unexpectedly shifted as ADGP for Law and Order in Bangalore. A.R Infant who was holding this post is promoted as new DGP for police Training department.
Harshavardhan Raju is ADGP for Police Appointments & Training Division.          Dr. S.T Ramesh continues in K.S Housing Corporation, but as DG-IGP in an elevated post.
