Mangalore : A four-days literary campaign was Inaugurated at Town Hall to mark 25th anniversary of Shanti Prakashana publishing house here on Monday November4.

Minister B Ramanath Rai inaugurated the book exhibition. After Inauguration exhibition he released a book, ‘Tahfeemul Quran’ the third part translated by P Noor Mohammed in Kannada,

Other two books also released in the same occasion, Health and family welfare minister U T Khadar released ‘Maatu Hege Irabeku’, translated to Kannada from the ‘Zuban Ki Hifazat’, and Fisheries Minister K Abhaychandra Jain released ‘Bhartiya Sanskrutiya Antardharegalu’ it is translated by P Noor Mohammed from Malayalam,

Ramanath Rai, in his presidential speech said, Knowledge is auxiliary for the good society, Book are giving lot’s of knowledge, Shanti Prakashana also doing parallel to knowledge,  they assembled society in peace and wealth.

We have many religious people in India; everyone should understand knowledge about other religions. We should be like brothers, he added.  

State minister for health and family welfare U T Khadar , Fisheries Minister K Abhaychandra, Mangalore South MLA J R Lobo spoke on the occasion.
