Mangaluru : There is no clue to the Sharath Madivala killers for a month. The Hindu Hitarakshna Samiti criticised the police department over the issue and planned a massive hunger strike on August 8 to seek justice for Sharath Madiwalas death.
Speaking in a press meet on Saturday, BJP leader Monappa Bhandary said, “It is doubtful that influential people have been tied up with police without arresting the accused.” The state home department totally failure, the police have still not caught the culprits, he alleged.
The police are under political pressure, and it is condemnable, Jaleel Karopady and Ashraf Kalayi cases are easily solved. In Sharath’s murder case government playing different policies, he said.

The Hindu Hitarakshna Samiti will hold a hunger strike on August 8 from 10 am to 4 pm in front of the DC’s office to seek justice. At same time, similar protests will also be held different places in Beltangady, Sullia, Bantwal and Puttur taluk offices, and at Moodbidri bus stand. If the state government still does not respond, we will intensify our protests further,” Bhandary said.
