Mangalore : The Dakshina Kannada Shikshana Sampanmula Kendragala Okkuta in collaboration with Zilla Shikshana Sampanmula Kendra Udupi, Shikshana Sampanmula Kendra Mangalore, organized Shikshaka-Shikshana Saptaha on September 20, Monday.
Speaking after inaugurating the event, Shivaprakash, Deputy Project Coordinator, Sarva Shikshana Abhiyana DK, said that In order to cope up with the Right to Education (RTE) Act, there is no need of bringing changes in teaching methodology, since present day teaching methodologies are outdated.
He also demanded to create favorable atmosphere for quality based education on the occasion.
He lauded the RTE Act and said that, this law will help the poor and middle class parents to provide quality based education to their children.
Delivering the presidential address on the occasion, Prema Ranjan, President DKSSKO, said that the community, teachers and parents must discuss on the matter to build better future and give quality based education to their children.
