Subrahmanya: Sandalwood superstar Shiva Rajkumar had a joyful day on Monday at Kukkue Subrahmanya. He was seen playing cricket with the local youth in the evening.

Shivanna had come to Kukke to perform Sarpa Samskara puja, with his family. He stayed in a private lodge on Monday and on Tuesday the rituals will begin.

He saw some children and youth playing cricket in a school ground. He put on a shirt and trouser and joined the youth to play cricket. He mingled with the children like a child.

He showed his excellence in cricket in both bowling and batting. Upon receiving the news of Shivanna in town, many people gathered at the spot to watch Shivanna playing.

At the end Shiva Rajkumar joined the public for a selfie session.

Visit to Dharmasthala
Before coming to Kukke Subrahmanya Shiva Rajkumar visited Shree Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Temple and sought blessings from Dharmadhikari Dr Veerendra Heggade. Veerendra Heggade suggested Shivanna to treat his mother Parvathamma Rajkumar in SDM naturopathy hospital.

After speaking to the reporters he said that the support for Kolar protests to get drinking water was not support for yettinahole project. Everyone should get drinking water. The government can also give alternate solution for the project.

It may be recalled that Tulu Rakshana Vedike had warned to ban the Kannada movies, if Kannada superstars didn’t support the protests against Yettinahole project.
