Bangalore: There is high expectation about Shobha Karandlaje following her political guide and mentor, former CM BS Yeddyurappa into oblivion.

She had waited, till Gadkari forcefully stated during the brain storming session that CM DVS Gowda would not be changed at any cost.

Shobha is on the brink of resignation, following her Guru Yeddyurappa pushed to the wall by local and Delhi leaders.

She seems to think, “Why I should be a minister, when Yeddyurappa is not in the cabinet, even on his 70th birthday?” Even during Mahashivaratri, she had tried her level best to put down CM, by complaining to BJP bigwigs in Delhi last week.

Then, she quarreled with CM, who rebuked her with ‘Who is CM, you or me? He had exposed her to the media in high voice.

So, Shobha K., is in a desperate situation of losing all hopes and resign her position from DVS Gowda’s cabinet. Even Eshwarappa could not pacify her, on her demands of bringing back Yeddyurappa.

He was aghast, when she told him she would retire from politics.
