New Delhi: A Public TV report which mentions of a secret meeting of Karnataka Energy Minister and Yeddyurappa confidante Shobha Karandlaje with Ahmed Patel, Political Secretary to Congress President Sonia Gandhi has aroused much curiosity.

Shobha had earlier stated that Yeddy would make his next move public on Monday evening. In this backdrop, her meeting with Ahmed Patel has gained much significance.

The Karnataka BJP is once again rocked by a crisis no sooner the Supreme Court ordered a CBI probe into the mining kickbacks case. On May 14, Monday, Yeddyurappa also held talks with several of his confidante ministers and MLAs. It has also been reported that around 41 Yeddy loyalist MLAs and ministers have already tendered their resignations to Yeddyurappa.
