Mangalore : The Mangalore University level 7th Students’ Literary Convention organized by Post-graduation Alumni Association in collaboration with SDM Business Management College was held at SDM Business Management Auditorium on March 19, Saturday.
Speaking after inaugurating the event, short story writer Vasudendra, Bangalore said that at present students involving in Kannada literature is really surprising.
He also said that in these days the computer has become the basic tool for writing a literature. It has become a utility tool for students and others too.
If a person loses the copy of his writing it will hurt him a lot, but when he finds a copy in his computer saved in various folders then his happiness will retain.
In the world every boy or girl will have their own beautiful childhood. The memories of childhood will have its own energy and every one must understand it.
Speaking on the skills of writing, he said that every one will have different skill of writing and using different styles, techniques and tools are adopted by habits.
The writer requires a developed personality which unknowingly works in writing literature and we must understand and experience the pain of others and write the story will affect more, he added.
Every writer begins to write a book with the fear, whether he will complete it or not, but when the writing becomes easy, the work simplifies sand the creativity dies, in this case the fear helps us, he stated.
Dr K Devraj, principal of SDM Business Management College was the chief guest on the occasion.
Delivering the presidential address, Sadanand Suvarna, National Award winning film director said that the new electronic today serve for good purposes, but when the television was invented and introduced, the theater artistes were angry for losing the opportunities, but when we see live incident happening on the world, the importance is known, he informed.
He also said that the matter which people think it to be bad also contain good in it. Today there are more of commercial films coming in the markets and according to the survey only 1 or 2 percent of films are good.
