Belthangady: In an attempt to protect the purity, divinity and cleanliness in the temples religious places in the sate Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (Shri Dharmasthala Grama Abhivrudhi Yojane) in association with various organisations, self help groups and others will organise a state wide cleaning program at 10,000 religious places including temples, churches, mosques and others. The campaign is scheduled to conclude on January 31, 2017, said Dharmadhikari Veerendra Heggade after a meeting with the members of the owners of the religious centers in the state on Thursday at Dharmasthala.
Cleanliness shows our culture and it is the duty of us to protect the the purity, cleanliness in the religious places including sanctum of the spiritual structures. Cleanliness helps to raise the divinity of any spiritual spot, added Heggade.
As per the plan, the first phase of the cleaning program will conclude by January 14. The Shri Dharmasthala Kshetra will conduct a mass level awareness program on cleaning in association with various organisations, NGOs, government bodies with the arranged cleaning campaign.
After the completion of the planned program an evaluation on the work completed will be conducted in Dharmasthala to resolve any issues related to the organised program and make it 100% success in the future campaigns.
