Mangaluru: Mangalurean lass Shrinidhi Ramesh Shetty has made her city proud after being crowned Miss Supranational 2016 at an event held at Krynica-Zdroj, Poland on Friday.

Shrinidhi was crowned with the title by Miss Supranational 2015, Stephania Stegman from Paraguay. Shrinidhi will be new face of the World Beauty Association, the current organizer of Miss Supranational and Mister Supranational beauty pageants.

Shrinidhi is the daughter of Ramesh and Kushala Shetty from Mulky. After completing her schooling at Sri Narayana Guru English Medium School, Mulky and her Pre-University Course at St Aloysius College, Mangaluru, Shrinidhi completed her B. E. at Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College of Engineering, Bengaluru.

She then worked with Accenture, Bengaluru for a couple of years and was appreciated for her dedication.

She had previously won the Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva Supernational 2016 title.
