Bengaluru: Shyam Bhat has been named as the President of Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC). The recommendation from the state government was signed by the Governor Vajubhai Wala.
Shyam Bhat was serving a Commissioner at Bengaluru Development Authority. Later he was transferred as Cooperative department Chief Secretary.
Previously the Governor had sent back the recommendation to the government as there were strong allegations of corruption on Shyam Bhat. There were cases registered against Shyam Bhat at Lokayukta.
Now the recommendation has been signed by the Governor and Shyam Bhat has been named as the Chief of KPSC.
