Mangaluru: Shri Siddivinayak Paratistan Sarvajanik Ganeshotsava samithi grandly celebrated 12th Ganeshotsava from 17th to 19th September in Omkar Nagar Bunts hostel Mangaluru.

The Lord Ganesha worshipped on behalf of the Taluk Bunts Sangha Mangalore and Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathru Sangha Mangalore in three days. various religious and cultural activities held. Achievers in various fields was felicitated on the occasion.

As part of harvest festival blessed fresh stalk of paddy was distributed to devotees.

The idol of Lord Ganesh was placed in the decorated truck, a grand procession, accompanied by thousands of devotees amidst the beating of drums, Lord Ganesha idol was taken out from Omkarnagar, Bunts Hostel on Saturday September 19.

Under leadership of Bunt leader Ajith Kumar Rai Maladi, C.A.Shantaram Shetty, Diwakar Samani, Meghanat Shetty, Nitteguttu Raviraj Shetty, Manjunath Bhandari Shedde, Sundar Shetty, Jagannath Shetty Bala, and others were present.
