Mangaluru :  Vishwa Hindu Parishad – Bajrang Dal activists staged protests Sunday October 4 morning near Mannagudda Gurji center against the six calves fell from a vehicle while illegally transporting in a 407 vehicle to the slaughterhouse at Kudroli.

Sources said that the more than 30 t0 40 cows and calves were being taken to the slaughterhouse at Kudroli in an improper manner a 407 vehicle. There were 2 calves from the vehicle fell down at Humps near KSR TC. The locals have reported this to the activists of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad – Bajrang Dal. The vehicle was immediately chased by Vihimba-Bajrang Dal activists.

It is said, Six of the calves were thrown in to the road near A.J Hospital Road, Urwastore Road, near Mannagudda Gurji center.

The activists of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) who came to know about this incident resorted to a flash protest at Mannagudda.

VHP and BD activists urged action against illegal cow transportation.
