Mangaluru : After a controversial statement against Karnataka Chief minister, police have registered an FIR against six members of Hindu Maha Sabha.
In a press conference held on Saturday Hindu Maha Sabha members made controversial remarks that “they will not spare anyone who goes against the Hindu culture and tradition of Hindus and that they did not spare Gandhiji too.”
The cases were registered after the video of the press conference went viral. Those booked are Dharmendra, Kamalaksha Padil, Prem Polali, Praveen Shetty, Sudhaker Shetty and Ullas.
The complaint was earlier lodged by Lohith Kumar Suvarna, State President of the Hindu Maha Sabha. The organisation even claimed that those who held the press conference were expelled from the organisation and were no longer its members.
