Mangalore : Six college students in the city whipped a young couple who were found eating Ice Cream in Ideal Ice Cream parlour on September 25, Friday.
The vigilante group of these students entered in to the ice ream parlour and abused the couple with the lauder voice since they both belong to different religion.
The victims Ms. Kulsum and Mr. Vittal Nag were the student’s local physiotherapy college.
The arrested are identified as Farook, Rasheed, Irshad, Naseer, Muneer and Anwar.
The group who had entered the Ice Cream Parlour started beating up the couple and was ready to leave the place. But since some customers, overpowered them and all the six of them were arrested by Mr. Vinay Gaonkar the Bundar Police Inspector arrived at the place.
Both Kulsum and Vittal have given a complaint in the Bunder station about the vigilante attack on them.
