Mangalore : A free medical check up camp was conducted by the SK Municipal Employees Union, Mangalore and Fr Muller Medical College Hospital, Kankanady on February 16, Saturday  at the Mangalore City Corporation office building. George Pinto, President of the Karnataka State unit of the Municipal Employees Union, inaugurated the camp.

Satish Kumar Bantwal,  advocate, presided over the function. Dr Das Acharya, Head of the Department of Community Medicine at Fr Muller Medical College, was present as a chief guest.

Shivaraj PV, President of the Mangalore Municipal Employees Union, Bhasker C, General Secretary and others were present.

This is the first such medical camp organized by the Union founded in the year 1969.
