Mangalore: A major accident took place on Friday morning at Udane near Uppinangady in Puttur taluk, when a Sugama (easy) Travels bus carrying several passengers from Bangalore to Moodabidri, skidded off the road, killing as child and injuring a dozen passengers, while shocking many others on the journey.

The 4-year old kid, Charit had severe injuries in the mishap (bus turning turtle) to die in a private hospital later on. Charit’s one-year old brother Kushik (a baby) and their parents, were among the injured on way, admitted to hospital in Puttur since police are looking in.
