Kasaragod : A silver and small screen actor Keerti Bhat Bellur also known as Keerti Sharada (32) died in a private hospital in Kengeri, Bangalore due to brief illness on October 5, Sunday.
Reportedly, Keerti had been diagnosed with the Dengue fever on Friday and since her condition was improving, she was taken back to home. But when her health condition got worse again on Saturday morning they admitted her to hospital again and kept in the ICU. Unfortunately, she breathed her last on Sunday at 11.35 pm.
Keerti, is said to have acted in more than 20 daily soaps including Punyakoti, Sukanya, Mangalya, Raghavendra Vaibhava, Baduku, Ninnolumeyindale and many more. Apart from it, her acting skill has also impressed the silver screen and offered an opportunity to act in 14 films including Upendra’s Super, Lift Kodla, Hosa Prema Purana, Nagatihalli Chandrashekhar’s Nooru Janmakoo and others.
Recently, Keerti played a small role in the serial Lakshmi Baaramma and the movie Maduve Mane starring Golden star Ganesh.
She also worked as an honorary adviser of Media Classical Kala Kayika Vedi, Bellur.
Keerti basically hails from Kallerimule in Bellur Village Panchayat of Kasargod District.
She is survived by her husband Ram Manohar, an entrepreneur of Ujjire and two children.
Keerti’s mortal remains were brought to her husband’s house for final rites.
