Mangaluru: A 40 year old well discovered while demolition of Navabharath Circle(Rashtrakavi Govind Pai Circle)  at Kodialbail in city on Saturday.

The circle is demolished under Smart City project work  to construct new circle.

Road excavation work under the Smart City project has been going on for some days here. Now, the workers found a huge well in the area.

Mayor Premananda Shetty along with MCC officials visited the spot and conducted an inspection.

Earlier, a 120-year-old well was discovered near the autorickshaw stand next to the Taj Mahal restaurant during the Mangaluru Smart City Limited (MSCL) road construction work near the Hampankatta Circle.
