Belthangady: After a video went viral on social media of assaulting a 70-year-old woman in Belthangady, the police arrested two persons in conection to the case.

The arrested Srinivas Shetty and his son Pradeep Shetty happen to be the son and grandson of the victim. The incident took place at Savanaalu.

Belthangady police investigated the incident after the video went viral and arrested the duo under section 323, 504 IPC, and 24 Senior Citizen Act 2007.
