Karkala : An unbelievable tragedy of a car accident occurred near Miyar church in Karkala when the father Shantaraj driving the car lost control and the vehicle hit six successive barriers on the road before coming to a stop, killing his son Shrutesh (16), a PUC student from Hirebail, Kalasa, while mother of the boy escaped with minor injuries like his father who was driving the Car.

Shantaraj was driving his car from home to Bhujabali Brahmacharya Ashram to attended a PTA meeting at Bhuvanendra College on Friday morning, when the car got in to the tragedy with son’s head under the car and he died on the spot.

A case of unnatural death involving driver-father has been registered by the Karkala Police who are investigating further to cover all sequential events.
