New Delhi: The Supreme leader of UPA’s ruling Congress Party and MP, Sonia Gandhi today asked BJP why it did not have the morality of removing a contaminated Karnataka CM Yeddyurappa when the (Sonia) Congress had succeeded in getting A. Raja’s (DMK) resignation from the Cabinet in the matter of 2 G spectrum.
Her attack came at a time when Congress CM in Andhra, K. Rosiah, resigned after being unable to seek support for himself over Sakshi TV programme which attacked PM Singh and Sonia Gandhi in Hyderabad and when there is a turmoil in Andhra and UPA rulers today, due to this development in New-Delhi. Sonia in a rare press talk referred to resignations from Shashi Tharoor and Ashok Chavan over various scandals and asked why BSY had been protected by BJP top leaders, adopting dual policies on power.
Sonia’s attack on BJP through the press is described as a rare event. She asked BJP to learn political morality from the Congress now. She directed BJP to stop useless criticism of PM and attacks on Congress. Pointing out the bankruptcy in BJP policies, Sonia asked people to decide about BJP rule in Karnataka and fix the double-dealing BJP leaders.
