Rae Bareli : UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi was ahead of Dinesh Pratap Singh of the BJP by over 1,67,178 votes in Rae Bareli.

Former Congress president and incumbent MP Sonia Gandhi looks unbeatable from this seat. A four-time MP from the constituency, she is contesting against BJP’s Dinesh Pratap Singh who switched from the Congress to the BJP before the 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.

Sonia Gandhi  secures 5,34,918 votes and her nearest contestant Dinesh Pratap Singh  secured 3,67, 740votes.

In 2014, Gandhi had won in Rae Bareli with a margin of over 4 lakh votes against BJP’s Ajay Agarwal.
