Bantwal: District Superintendant of police Bhooshan Gulabroa Borase gave a surprise visit to B C Road on Friday and inspected the problems of the public. Frequent blocking of National Highway, parking under Fly over, Drainage problem and improper parking system were noted by the SP.
He discussed with the Bantwal town panchayat President Ramakrishna Alva and Chief Officer Sudhakar Bhat regarding the construction of bus bay in the town.
Agreeing for the proposal made by SP, Ramakrishna Alva said that bus bay can be constructed near old taluk panchayat office, but NHAI had promised to provide concrete slabs for the drainage canal, still they haven’t provided it.
