Bhatkal : A motorcyclist lost his  life when his two-wheeler collided against a truck carrying electric poles  near theMasjid e-Abubakar Siddiqui on Jamia Abad Road here on April 10, Wednesday. The truck was carrying electric poles of the Electricity Board.

The bike hit the truck which was taking a reverse. It is said the bike was proceeding at great speed resulting in the mishap.

In another accident near Ranginakatte on NH on April 10, Wednesday night, two youngsters namely Inayatullah (29) and Sauban Armar (19) sustained serious injuries in a road mishap on Wednesday night. The two are cousins.

In yet another mishap, an autorickshaw driver sustained serious injuries when the auto overturned after the driver tried to avoid hitting a stray dog, at Belke  late night on Wednesday. He has been admitted to a hospital in Kundapur.
