Mangaluru : Asha Jyothi, a unit of Seva Bharathi had organised Special Fest for the Special Children at the Canara High School grounds at Dongerkeri here on January 12, Monday.

More than 400 differently abled children from dakshina kannada, udupi, and kasargod districts had a gala time at the Canara High School premises at dongerkeri.

AJ Shetty, Chief of AJ Group of institution inaugurated the event, Rangaswami, Deputy General Manager of Corporation Bank and Gajanana Pai, Trustee of Seva Bharathi were present as chief guests.

Mangaluru Mayor Mahabala Maarla presided over the function.

Children’s enjoyed with the amusement section, camel and horse ride.

A health check up camp was also conducted for the special kids on the occasion.

All the participants were provided free food and refreshments.
