Mangalore : “ 3 decades of NMPT Service to the Nation” a special issue on NMPT  brought out by Johnwill Marine Information was released by Dr. P. Tamilvanan, Chairman, NMPT, at the NMPT auditorium here on August 26, Sunday. The issue features  the history, growth and developmental activities in the port.

Speaking on the occasion, Tamilvanan promised the publishers that the special issue will be circulated widely so that people become aware of the history of NMPT.

T.S.N. Murthy, Deputy Chairman, NMPT commended the efforts put in by Johan of Marine Information in bringing out the issue. Parameshwaran, Commissioner of customs, Shekhar Poojary, President of Stevedores Agents Association, Praveen Kumar Bangera, President of Steamer Agents Association, the issue Editor John, D. Puroshotham Commissioner of Customs Mangalore and other officials from NMPT, Customs, Port Users etc were present.
