Mangalore : The Mangalore University Gandhian Studies Centre and Karavali College of Education jointly organized Special lecture on ‘Gandhi and Education’ at Karavali College, Mangalore on October 15, Friday.

S Ganesh Rao, chairman, GR Education Trust inaugurated the event.
Participating as the resource person on the occasion, Dr Rajaram Tholpadi, department of Mangalore University, focused Peace, non violence and democracy – The Gandhian principles”,

The speaker highlighted many of Mahatma Gandhi’s inspirations, principles, beliefs and philosophies, referred to as Gandhism, as a way out of conflicts in the present world.
Prof PL Dharma, chairperson, Political Science Department, Mangalore University presided over the function.
