Mangalore: Puttur’s mentally retarded youth Suresh Nayak has made a world record of making four different records in a year, said Umesh Nayak, brother of Suresh.

He was speaking at the press meet held at Press Club on August 31, Friday. He also said that 40 year old Suresh has only 22 IQ level and has entered in a ‘Asia Book of Record’ for having world longest tongue. This same record has been included in ‘India Book of record’ and made a national record for having 10 cm long tongue.

He also said that Suresh has even entered in the Limca Record, in the memory exhibition organized in Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh by identifying the names of 518 people’s number stored in his small nameless telephone directory in 1 hour and 12 minutes.

He has even made a Limca record for the second time for having four divisions in his fingers instead of three and identified as special hand.

Suresh is also one of the instrumental artistes for Bhajana mandali of Puttur’s Sri Venkataramana Temple and a volunteer in social programme. At present he is working as the working as the telephone operator at his own ‘Sriram Shares’ office at Puttur, said Umesh.
