Mangalore : A central government employee breadth his last on the spot, when he was hit by a speeding car near Adyar on March 17 Saturday at 8:00 p.m.

The deceased is identified as Sudhakar Kutti of Kerala. He was said to be working at the Geological Department’s check post at Adyar.

Reportedly, the driver of a Maruti Swift car which hit him fled the scene immediately. The driver’s identity is yet found.

The Kankanady rural police officials have registered a hit-and-run case against the driver.
