Mangalore : Several children of the St Mary’s School  near Falnir who were about to come out of the school gates  on completion of school hours were lucky enough  when a speeding car turned turtle in the area only after hitting several vehicles.

The accident took place on the SL Mathias Road. It is learnt two youth were in the car which first hit a Maruti Omni and then an autorickshaw parked near the school. The driver later sped in great speed for fear of being trapped resulting in the car overturning. The front portion of the car was badly mangled in the mishap.

Kadri police are investigating.
