Subrahmanya: As a part of the Kiru-Srishti Festival held in the hoary Kukke Subrahmanya Temple, a Car-pulling spectacle was arranged as seen by devotees thronging at the Car Street on Friday (Dec 30).

The deity was taken out on a high chariot and a worship (Puja Ceremony) was held at Savari Mantapa on a platform, during which attractive fireworks were conducted to please the worshipful deity.

On Friday night, a Yakshagana open-air play was held on the topic of “Maharshi Agstya”, by Ramachandra Kripa-poshitha Yakshagana Mandali of Ramachandrapura.
