Mangaluru: “When the sports meets are organised systematically then it will surely develop sportsman spirit, discipline and competitiveness. Moreover, it will help the policemen to come over the work pressure and stress,” said City Police Commissioner Chandra Sekhar.

He was speaking in the concluding ceremony of district police and city police two day’s sports meet organised at Police Parade Ground on Tuesday.

“Working in police department is too hard and stressful. Sports meet will release some amount of stress from the personnel. Sports even help to build a good friendship between colleagues and to build greater heights,” he said.

SP Bhushan G Borase, DCP Law and Order Shantharaju, DCP Crime and Traffic Dr Sanjeev Patil and others were present.
