Kundapur : Cricket star S Sreesanth was at the Kollur Mookambika shrine on May 6, Sunday, to offer prayers to the Goddess and seek her blessings. Sreesanth was accompanied by his brothers Abhishek and Servesh.
Sreeshanth offered a Tulabhara in sugar at the temple and also donated a silver statue.
Later, speaking to reporters, he said he had visited the temple to pray to the Goddess for the success of his surgery and his early recovery from a toe injury that has prevented him from playing his favourite sport.
Earlier, speaking to media men at the Mangalore airport from where he reached Kollur by car, Sreesanth said it was not possible for him to play international cricket for another five months as he will be undergoing two surgeries in this toes.
Though a part of the Rajasthan Royals this season, he hasn’t played even a single match due to injury.
