Mangalore: The Mysore prince Sri Kantadatta N. Odeyar participated in his spiritual Guru Sri. Chandrasekhara Swamiji’s birthday celebrations arranged by Swamiji’s Charitable Trust in a simple ceremony, felicitating him with greetings and acknowledging him to be the spiritual ambassador of India and Karnataka.

Several animals were adopted on the occasion and several prisoners who could not pay fines and had to suffer jail sentences were set at liberty, under the Trust care, to celebrate Swamiji’s birthday on Friday in Bangalore.

Home minister V. Somanna stated as chief guest on the occasion that mental peace can be obtained by spiritual discipline. The spiritual knowledge could be secured from a real competent Guru and brought into practice to make life fruitful.

KPCC chief Dr.G. Parameshwara, Film Producer and studio owner Rockline Venkatesh and Praveen Shetty of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRVe) were guests of honour, who wished the beaming Swamiji many happy returns of the day.
